THE EVENTReflections | Projections is a weeklong career fair, tech conference, and AI hackathon run by students at the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana. Normally, the event is held on campus with an attendance of 1500+ students, but R|P 2020 went fully virtual.
THE TASKAs lead designer, I updated the event’s color scheme and led a team of 4 designers to help produce digital assets for marketing and swag items for attendees.
Due to the unprecedented nature of our event, our organization’s social media accounts were the front-facing environment for our hundreds of virtual attendees.
The design team worked to make sure posts were visually clear and eye-catching for attendees to access important information about events.
